Thor SHOCKLOCK Level 2 Security Upgrade

Made for your Thor Holster

Unlike our Thor Duty+ holster, our standard Thor holster doesn't have an external safety catch. High speed - low drag. However, especially when marching, landing from water, or in the mountains, it can be advantageous to additionally secure your handgun in the holster. Only when things are about to get heated can you release the safety catch in preparation, thus reacting more quickly.

How SHOCKLOCK works

SHOCKLOCK is a modular upgrade for your existing Thor holster or any other holster with a Safariland, G-Code, or BladeTech bore pattern. Our SHOCKLOCK retention plate is screwed between the holster and the mount. The additional eyelet then allows you to secure your weapon in the slide area using the elastic shockcord. It also works with optics and weapons with external hammers. The generously sized pull tab on the back of the shockcord allows you to easily release the safety even while wearing gloves. The safety strap actively protects your weapon from loss.

Whether in dense forest, on a driven hunt, or in dynamic settings when you slide down a slope with your rifle – the Shocklock safety keeps your handgun in the holster.

What is the difference to the Thor Duty+?

The Thor Duty+ holster features a quick-release Safariland SLS safety. This allows the weapon to be drawn dynamically from the holster in one easy pull. The SHOCKLOCK is an elastic cord that is stretched around the back of the grip above the slide. This prevents the weapon from being lost, but it doesn't allow for the same rapid draw as with the Thor Duty+. It can be used whenever danger is not imminent or when moving in extremely dynamic situations.
