This is why your holster is longer than your compact firearm:
Imagine your waistband as the waterline of a boat. Without a keel, the boat would capsize – only the mass below the waterline keeps it stable.
The same applies to small pistols (Glock 26, 43X, SIG P365): With a full magazine, almost all the weight sits above the belt. If there's no counterweight below, the grip tilts away and prints, while the short muzzle presses into your body.
The "keel" is a longer holster body – for example, a Glock 26 at Glock 19 length. The extra length balances the top-heavy weapon: more stable, more comfortable, less print.
Made for you if you treat your gear like a 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser in Afghanistan.
It offers extra rigidity and impact resistance for drops, severe impacts, and extreme misuse no user manual would reasonably anticipate (yes, how you use stuff is unique ... in many ways).
Ideal for duty use (military, police etc.) aswell as Lynx Brutality, Finnish Brutality, Tactical Games, and similarly demanding events. More rigid, yet heavier than our proven Core Performance Material and available in limited colors.
Black Trident® Core Performance Material
Our proven holster material, trusted across hundreds of thousands of Black Trident products.
It provides the optimal balance of durability, rigidity, low weight, comfort, and reliable retention for duty use, everyday carry, training, and competition. Depending on the model, we use holster-grade thermoplastics with a raw thickness of 2.2 to 2.6 mm. Minor variations are normal due to thermoforming.
