Unlike conventional red dot sights, the EXPS3's holographic sight offers superior visibility and accuracy. The holographic image allows the shooter to view the target with both eyes open, enabling improved depth perception and rapid target acquisition. Furthermore, the sight image is independent of the viewing angle, ensuring consistent target acquisition regardless of eye position.

The EXPS3 features a unique holographic sight pattern that enables rapid target acquisition. The sight pattern consists of a precise 1 MOA aiming dot surrounded by a 68 MOA ring that intuitively supports target acquisition and is optimized for rapid firing.
