Range Belt 2.0 – The upgrade for the highest demands

This article is about our further developed flagship: the Range Belt 2.0 . What's changed compared to the first version? Who is an upgrade worthwhile for? And why was stiffness such a big focus during development? Find out everything here.

What is the Range Belt anyway?

The Black Trident Range Belt is a two-piece belt system . This means you wear an inner belt through your trouser loops, to which the outer range belt is attached with Velcro.

Particularly important: The Inner Belt Rugged contains a plastic insert that ensures high torsional rigidity – the entire system therefore remains dimensionally stable and safe even under load.

What’s new with the Range Belt 2.0?

Visually, the difference between 1.0 and 2.0 is hardly noticeable – but the big improvement lies on the inside: the improved rigidity .

We've received a lot of feedback that our belts could be even stiffer—especially for users who carry a lot of gear or heavy equipment. This is where the Range Belt 2.0 comes in. The new model uses an extra-stiff belt material originally used in the MultiCam Rugged model.

The problem: This material wasn't available in all colors until now. So we embarked on an intensive search for materials – and finally found one that would allow us to produce the Range Belt 2.0 in all colors – and with the desired stiffness.

If you already own the 1.0, you might be wondering if the upgrade is worth it. Our clear recommendation: Yes, if you use the belt a lot —for example, at the shooting range, in training, or in the field.

The difference in stiffness is clearly noticeable: everything sits more securely, gear slips less, and the system is more robust overall. If you want maximum performance, the 2.0 is the best we've ever built.

Conclusion

The Range Belt 2.0 is more than just an update – it is the result of real user feedback, consistent material research, and our commitment to building uncompromisingly functional gear.
