Not satisfied with your order or want to return a product? No problem. On this page, we explain step by step how returns work, who bears which costs, and how your refund is processed.

Your statutory right of withdrawal (14 days)

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days without stating any reasons. The period begins on the day you (or a person designated by you) received the goods. For multiple items in an order delivered separately, it begins upon receipt of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision with a clear statement – e.g., by email to [Insert email address]. You can use the model withdrawal form for this, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your declaration of withdrawal before the 14-day period expires.

How your return works

1. Register your return
Contact us at [Insert email address] with your order number and the items you wish to return.

2. Pack the goods
Pack the items as securely as possible – ideally in their original packaging. For clothing and merchandise, please ensure that tags are still attached and the items are unworn and unwashed.

3. Ship the package
Send the package to the following address:

We recommend insured shipping with tracking so that your return can be traced.

4. Inspection & Refund
Upon receipt, we will inspect the goods. If everything is undamaged and in new condition, we will refund the corresponding amount.

Shipping costs

The costs of the return are borne by you as the customer. We recommend that you adequately stamp the package and send it insured – we cannot accept unstamped shipments.

Your refund

How much you get refunded depends on what you return:

You return the entire order:
You will receive the full amount back – product price(s) and the original shipping costs (shipping to you).

You return only individual items from an order:
You will receive the product price of the returned items. Original shipping costs will not be refunded in this case, as the rest of the order remains with you.

The refund will be issued using the same payment method you used for the order, unless otherwise agreed. We will refund as soon as the goods have been received and inspected – at the latest within the statutory period. In the case of a withdrawal, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return.

Returns from non-EU countries (e.g. Switzerland, USA)

For returns from a non-EU country (e.g., Switzerland or the USA), the goods must be handled correctly under customs law. Please ensure that the package is clearly declared as a return and labeled accordingly (e.g., as "Returned Goods" and not as new goods).

If these details are incorrectly provided, additional costs may arise on our part (e.g., customs duties, import taxes, or processing fees). We will deduct these costs from the amount that would be available for your refund.

For further information on returns from a non-EU country to the EU area, please contact your local customs authority.

Condition of goods & depreciation

For us to refund the full amount, the goods should arrive undamaged and in new condition. You are, of course, allowed to inspect the goods, just as you would in a retail store.

For merchandise (T-shirts, hoodies, caps, etc.) that has already been worn or washed and thus shows visible signs of use, we must retain an appropriate compensation for the loss of value. The refund amount will be reduced accordingly in this case.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

In the following cases, there is no right of withdrawal:

  • Products made to individual specifications or clearly personalized (e.g., Kydex pistol holsters, magazine pouches, etc.)
  • Sealed items for hygiene reasons, where the seal was removed after delivery
  • Vouchers and digital content after explicit consent

Special return conditions for Kydex products

Please note that Kydex products (such as pistol & revolver holsters, magazine pouches & co.) are manufactured according to the made-to-order principle based on your selection and are not stock items. Therefore, a return in the sense of a withdrawal is excluded.

Please also note that Kydex (pistol holsters, magazine holsters & co.) and nylon products (Range Belt, Two-Point Slings etc.) with patterns are licensed products. Therefore, we cannot individually adjust the size of pattern elements, the intensity of individual colors & co.

If something doesn't fit, we will, of course, fix it. If you believe your holster does not fit correctly (e.g., too tight or too loose), and you have already fully tightened or loosened all screws, but the problem persists, please contact us. You will then receive a free return label from us; we will correct the product and send it back to you free of charge. No customer has ever gone home dissatisfied from us - we are here to help you.

Please do not modify the holster yourself (e.g., by heating, drilling, grinding, or similar alterations). We are happy to take care of your concern and solve your problem free of charge. Please contact us at info@blacktrident.com.

Please note that Black Trident Kydex products physically altered by customers are excluded from improvement or exchange.

Note for business and government customers (B2B)

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers. For orders from companies, government agencies, and other business customers, individually agreed conditions apply. For returns, please contact your responsible sales team at info@blacktrident.com
