Zipper Kit for MOLLE Rear Plate Bags
The Ferro Concepts Back Panel MOLLE Zipper Kit adds zipper attachment points for ADAPT Back Panels to plate carriers that do not come with them from the factory. The kit is woven into the MOLLE field of the rear pocket – after that, any ADAPT Back Panel can be easily zipped on and swapped depending on the mission. Made for anyone wearing a Slickster™ MOLLE or another MOLLE carrier who wants to use the Ferro Concepts back panel system.

What you need in addition
The kit is the adapter – back panel and carrier are not included:
- Back Panel: a Ferro Concepts ADAPT Back Panel, for example, Back Panel MOLLE, Back Panel Banger, Back Panel Double Pouch, Back Panel Water, or Back Panel Liberty
- Carrier: a plate carrier with at least 6 columns × 5 rows of MOLLE on the rear pocket
Frequently Asked Questions about the Back Panel MOLLE Zipper Kit
Will this kit fit my plate carrier?
Yes, if the rear pocket provides at least 6 columns × 5 rows of MOLLE – regardless of whether it is classic webbing or laser-cut MOLLE. Not compatible is the Slickster™ with a slick rear pocket.
Do I need the kit for the FCPC V5?
No. The rear pocket of the FCPC V5 already has side zippers for Ferro back panels. The kit is intended for carriers that lack this attachment point.
Is a back panel included?
No. The kit only provides the zipper attachment. The desired ADAPT Back Panel is available separately.
How is the kit installed?
Both adapters are woven in with 6 MOLLE columns of space, preferably in the top row, and secured with the Tuck Tab; additionally, the One-Wrap hook and loop strip provides extra hold. Afterward, weave the back panel into the same top row and the next free row, then close the zippers.
