The Crye Precision™ EXP™ 1500 Pack is the more compact sibling of the EXP™ 2100 Pack: a sleek backpack with no military aesthetics that doesn't stand out in everyday urban life, yet offers the full functionality of a tactical pack. When needed, it expands by approximately 8 liters and can accommodate items up to 68.6 cm (27") in length. Designed for anyone looking for a backpack for the office, travel, and deployment that won't look out of place in any of these environments.

Frequently asked questions about the EXP 1500 Pack

What is the difference from the EXP 2100 Pack?

The EXP 2100 is the larger version: approx. 34 l base volume, an expansion of an additional approx. 14.7 l, a side-access laptop compartment for larger devices, and an additional removable waist belt. The EXP 1500 is more compact, features a top-access laptop compartment, and is particularly well-suited as a daypack for city and travel use.

How large can my laptop be?

The laptop compartment measures 27.9 × 43.2 cm (11" × 17") in height and width and is accessible from the top. Tablets up to 27.9 × 20.3 cm (11" × 8") also fit in the fleece-lined outer compartment.

How does the expansion work?

It is permanently integrated, no accessories are necessary. The depth increases from 18.4 to 27.9 cm, which provides approx. 8.2 l of additional volume. Additionally, the backpack can be extended to 70.5 cm in height to accommodate items up to 68.6 cm long.

Can I attach pouches?

Yes, on the inside. The separately available EXP Pack MOLLE Insert snaps into the main compartment and forms a stable MOLLE platform. Additionally, PALS webbing on the interior walls provides space for organization pouches.
