The Ferro Concepts Kangaroo Front Flap V2 transforms the front of your plate carrier into a well-thought-out workspace: magazines inside, pouches on the MOLLE surface, mission equipment on the sides. Every item has its place – and stays there. Made for those who build their plate carrier modularly and switch their setup between rifle and SMG depending on the mission.
- Up to 4 magazines: 3 AR magazines or 4 SMG magazines with the appropriate insert
- 18 MOLLE fields: 3 rows × 6 columns at the correct height for pouches
- Side webbing: 13 mm (1/2") for tourniquet, light, or small items
- Adjustable retention: Shock cords with pull tabs for quick access
- Quickly mounted: Split-bar G-hook and Velcro, UCAS-compatible

The front flap is delivered without a magazine insert. Here is how you put your setup together:
- For AR magazines: Ferro Concepts Kangaroo V2 Insert Triple 556 – three 5.56 × 45 mm / .223 magazines
- For SMG magazines: Turnover™ Quad SMG Large – four SMG magazines
- Optional: Ferro Concepts Kangaroo Handy Bandy for additional storage space to the front

Frequently asked questions about the Kangaroo Front Flap V2
Does the Kangaroo Front Flap V2 fit my plate carrier?
Yes, if your carrier is UCAS-compatible – this applies to, among others, the FCPC models from Ferro Concepts. On the FCPC V6, an additional snap button secures the bottom edge to the front plate bag.
Are magazine inserts or magazines included?
No. For magazines, a separate insert is required, such as the Kangaroo V2 Insert Triple 556 for AR magazines or the Turnover™ Quad SMG Large for SMG magazines.
Can I also use AK magazines?
Yes, with the Kangaroo V2 Insert Triple 556, magazines in 7.62 × 39 mm caliber can also be accommodated. Due to abrasion, Ferro Concepts recommends using only PMAGs for this.
How do I adjust the retention force?
Via the shock cords with pull tabs. It is best to first insert the magazines as a test, check the carry height, and only then thread the shock cords to the desired tension.
