Active hearing protection - speaking and hearing without noise

Commands and information must remain audible and understandable at all times via radio as well as when spoken to directly. The electronic, level-dependent hearing protection 3M PELTOR ComTac XPI was designed for the toughest conditions in the field and at the shooting range. It offers effective protection against harmful impulse noise and can be worn comfortably under a helmet, while the rifle can be used without restrictions.

The ComTac XPI is particularly suitable for protection against loud impulse noise. Harmful sound levels are effectively dampened, but normal ambient noises are easily perceptible and are sometimes even amplified. The ability to communicate with the environment while simultaneously protecting yourself from harmful noise is absolutely vital in the military sector - whether in training or in actual combat operations.

The 3M Peltor ComTac XPI Force Kit contains the Comtac XPI headset and a number of useful product additions for effective use of hearing protection in all situations.
