Frequently Asked Questions about the EXP Pack MOLLE Insert

Where is the MOLLE insert mounted?

In the main compartment of the backpack. The insert snaps in there and creates a stable MOLLE surface on the inside – the exterior of the EXP Pack remains inconspicuously unchanged.

Which backpacks is the insert compatible with?

With the EXP Packs from Crye Precision, specifically the EXP 1500 Pack and the EXP 2100 Pack.

What are the lashing straps for?

The five included lashing straps stabilize weapons or other long items on the MOLLE platform so that nothing shifts while carrying.

Is a second insert worth it?

Yes, if you use multiple loadouts. With pre-configured inserts, you can swap the entire equipment of your backpack in one step, instead of repacking each pouch individually.
